Laptop takes forever to boot up despite how it's basically brand new, web pages often will stop responding, sometimes I get a error message to reboot the whole laptop when I turn it on. I just don't understand how this laptop which was like $300 can be so slow. I've been debating on just getting rid of it.

Hi,
This an entry level laptop which is a basic computer with not much powerful components. There is still the old fashion hard drive(5400rpm) so it will always be slow no matter what you want to do. The $300 price tag says it all. If you want a fast/gaming machine then you have to spend some cash($700+) and not $300.
