Hey guys greetings to you
so i have a Hp pavilion 15 7th generation intel core i5-7200 processor 2.5ghz - 3.1 ghz,i plugged it for charging and went to school and when i came back and I tried turn it on but it didn’t turn on the charging light was also off even though it was plugged in the charger was also fine since i tried it on another hp laptop ,gave it for repairs and they told me about 3 ic’s got burnt and the ic numbers weren’t that recognizable, probably due to a power surge, and they couldn’t find the replacement ic’s anywhere so please i need the IC specifications for this laptop,i think it’ll narrow down the ic’s i need for replacement thank you or any ic that will work on it

Sorry, but the motherboards are manufactured for HP by third-parties and they consider that kind of information proprietary. You would have to replace the system board, and then, you would have to buy a new Windows license because the existing one is tied to the system board and HP will not give you a second license. Additionally, HP does not sell their motherboards nor do the third-parties sell them through retail channels, so the most you could hope for is a used one.
I am a volunteer and I do not work for, nor represent, HP
