Hi @Kamalll,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
Thanks for the detailed description. The Error Code 601 on your HP laptop indicates a failing or failed internal battery, and the fact that the HP logo appears and disappears in a loop suggests a power or boot loop issue. Here's how to proceed:
Steps to Troubleshoot and Possibly Recover
1. Perform a Hard Reset (with Battery Removed)
- Disconnect the charger.
- Remove the battery (if removable).
- Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
- Reconnect the charger (without battery) and try powering on.
2. Try Booting into BIOS
- Power on the laptop and immediately press Esc or F10 repeatedly.
- If BIOS opens, check:
- Battery status
- Boot order
- Disable Fast Boot (if enabled)
3. Use HP Hardware Diagnostics (F2)
If you can access the diagnostics menu:
- Press F2 repeatedly at startup.
- Run the Battery Test and System Test.
- Note any additional error codes.
4: BIOS Restore:
1) Shut down the computer, keep the charger plugged in
2) Hold down the Windows and B buttons together while the computer is still turned off.
3) Turn on the computer and continue to hold the Windows and B buttons until a BIOS Recovery screen appears.
4) Follow the on-screen instructions and click on OK.
I hope this helps.
Take care, and have an amazing day!
