Hi @HARILAL,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If the Caps Lock key on your HP Pavilion x360 laptop is continuously blinking with a beeping sound, it typically indicates a hardware issue or a keyboard-related problem. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue.
Check for Stuck Key: First, make sure that none of the keys on your keyboard are physically stuck. Sometimes, a stuck key can cause this problem. Gently press each key to ensure they all move freely.
Restart Your Laptop: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve minor hardware glitches. Turn off your laptop, wait a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
Update Keyboard Drivers:
a. Right-click on the Start button and select "Device Manager."
b. Expand the "Keyboards" section.
c. Right-click on your keyboard device and select "Update driver."
d. Follow the on-screen instructions to search for and install updated drivers.
Disable Sticky Keys:
a. Go to "Settings" > "Ease of Access."
b. Click on "Keyboard" on the left sidebar.
c. Under "Sticky Keys," make sure it's turned off.
Check for Software Conflicts: Sometimes, third-party software or malware can interfere with keyboard functionality. Run a thorough malware scan using reliable antivirus software.
Boot into Safe Mode: Restart your laptop and boot into Safe Mode to see if the problem persists. If it doesn't occur in Safe Mode, it could be due to a third-party software conflict.
Perform a System Restore:
a. Type "Create a restore point" in the Windows search bar and open the corresponding result.
b. Click on the "System Restore" button.
c. Follow the on-screen instructions to restore your system to a point when the Caps Lock key was working correctly.
Try an External Keyboard: If you have an external USB keyboard, connect it to your laptop and see if the Caps Lock key functions properly. This can help determine if the issue is with the laptop's internal keyboard.
Reset BIOS/UEFI Settings: If none of the above steps work, you can try resetting your laptop's BIOS/UEFI settings to default. Access the BIOS/UEFI during startup (usually by pressing a specific key, like F2 or Del) and look for an option to reset to defaults.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
