I have an HP G60-445DX laptop. It's about 10 years old. I presume it has a CMOS battery. Should I replace it as a precaution or wait until it doesn't hold the settings?

Well, I think 10 years is the time to replace its RTC/CMOS battery I've a machine, w/o RTC battery (or too weak) it won't upgrade BIOS.
Regards.
