Hi. Sorry to trouble you again but I have another question.

The D recovery drive on the laptop is full. Is this normal and if not what should I do?

Many thanks

There might be some files that can be deleted from there that were saved there inadvertently.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to help you with that because HP has removed all of their webpages that used to address that issue.

There are ways to fix the problem, but you will have to let google be your friend.

Hi. Sorry to trouble you again. The RAM card you suggested is currently unavailable but I have found another virtually the same.

is it ok to just add 1 x 4gb card or should I replace the existing one as well.

Many  thanks

Hi:

Can you post the link to the memory you want to buy.

I would like to check the specs on it too see if it would work.

If the specs are the same, you should be OK just installing the one 4 GB memory chip in the empty slot.

Hope this is okHope this is ok

Hi. New RAM installed, big improvement so far. Is 2x4gb RAM the max for this machine?

Thanks once again for all your help.
