After being stuck in an APCI BIOS error I ran the system diagnostics. I showed a battery failure. I replaced the main battery and as the Coin battery was old, I replaced it also. The APCI BIOS error is still present. I tried to update the BIOS. It appeared to be OK but then on restart it cleared the image and reload the old one. I used the Window Key + V and power button. this gives me the CMOS checksum is invalid. The CMOS will be reset to the default configuration and will be rebooted. Please check you BIOS Setup options to see if the Changes. CMOS Reset (502).
The BIOS was already at default setting so there was not change. I can get into the setting of BOIS and change Date, Time, and Boot Options so believe the chip is good. I am lost as to where to go now.

I have gone the guide. I have new CMOS battery and main battery. I tested the main battery in the System diagnostics showing the battery good at %96 charge and no calibration required. I have reset the CMOS by removing the battery for several minutes. I have used the System diagnostics to reload the BOIS, Version F.45 is currently in BOIS. I have attempted to load the latest version download from HP but after it completes and reboot it goes into "clearing impending image" and the F.45 is still in BIOS and the F.54 is not there. When windows tries to start it is in a ACPI BIOS error or preparing automatic repair loop. Without window the window fixes are not available. I am at a complete loss of where to go next.
