HP Laptop - 14-dk1022wm
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, I'm using a HP Laptop - 14-dk1022wm.

Recently it has taken long times to start up, when I turned it on, the power led would come on and the fans would run, but no screen display. Once the screen finally displayed something, it would give me an error about the CMOS battery and reboot the system. Now it won't display anything after any period of time. The power LED is on and the fans are running, and when I look closely at the screen, it appears to be flickering from off, to on but only displaying a black screen, flickering at a meduim pace. Please help me find a fix for this, it would be very appreciated.

HP - 14-dk1022wm is the full name.

And the PN does indeed start with that.

I think you misunderstood the problem, the problem is that currently when I boot it up it's a screen that flickers from off to on but fully black at a medium pace with the power LED on and the fans running, it used to give me a CMOS ERROR after awhile, but this time it hasn't. The screen hasn't flickered before like it is now either, this prefents me from logging in, and installing bios. It appears to be fully charged as well.

Hello @GaspKujo

In your case: Service is required !
- The computer should be disassembled and checked.
Thermal paste for CPU GPU and bridges should be renewed

- Screen and connection

- The function of the fan(s) must be checked

Short circuit test

- General cleaning ...

If you can't do that, you should have it serviced by a professional notebook (chip level) repair store.
