Hello,
I can't locate my notebook on this page: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_3913140-3876462-16
My model is a HP ENVY - 17-u273cl
Since this model came with Windows 10 it should be listed on the page somewhere, but I find nothing close.
I'm checking because I plan to upgrade from Win10 version 1909 to 20H2 and I thought it wise to check compatibility first.
I'm out of warranty so I'm guessing I can't call HP - any suggestions?
Thank you,
Mike

Update:
It just occurred to me that my machine may not be listed on that page because it hasn't been tested for 21H1 yet. The link I followed to get there had an out of date name, referring to the May 2020 update, but when I arrived at the page it was referring to the latest version (21H1).
So perhaps my question should be: How do I find which version my machine actually has been tested for compatibility?
I'm only interested in 20H2 currently.

The document says "The information below lists HP products that have been tested with the Windows 10 May 2021 Update (version 21H1). Any PC product that is not listed in the Windows 10 May 2021 Update table was not tested by HP for this update and may not be supported by HP for Windows 10. "
I can't see why your machine can't run Windows 10 21H1. I've got few 8, 9, 10 & 11 years old machines and they all run Windows 10 21H1. Only one machine can't find driver for Finger Print reader. It could not find from Windows 8.1 therefore that was not my concern
Regards.

Agreed. I realized that after my first post. Any idea how to access a page that lists compatibility with earlier Windows versions?

I figure it should - I would be upset if it wouldn't because it's only maybe 5 years old.
But I attempted the upgrade and the installation stalled at 61%
It was only after the installation failure that I decided it would be wise to check compatibility. 😏
So now I'm trying to get verification that my machine has at least been tested for 20H2.
