HP SUPPPORT ADVISOR MESSAGE to do updates which I performd. Now, 3 or 4 das later i amgetting cooling fan messages. Is there anything i can do myself or do i need to seek professional assistance ?

Yes, there are a few things you could do to improve or fix the problem. HP has created an article for these types of issues. Please, check it out and follow the steps >> https://support.hp.com/si-en/document/c03620929
If the suggestions there do not help, you will need to bring the PC for a service.

much for the link to the article, it took me longer to log in here and find my post than it did to do the process you recommended AND here i am on the laptop in question. It worked with only one attemp and i thank you and my crecit card thanks you for the savings of not having to seek professional assistance. THANK YOU.
