Almost 1.5 year ago I bought HP omen 15 (intel® Core™ i7 8gen 8750H 2,2 - 4,1 GHz, 1 TB HDD 256 GB SSD, nVidia® GeForce GTX 1070 + Intel HD Graphics 630). The problem occurs when laptop is plug into the charger - CPU temperatures can suddenly jump from 50 degrees to 80 degrees, and then to almost 100. Temperatures of GPU are ok, like I said this happen only when laptop is connected to the charger. Playing games such as the witcher 3 is a real nightmare, fans work really loud, even though I have a chill pad. All the temperatures were measured with CPUID HWMonitor. Also, I noticed that temperatures between different cores can vary by as much as a 10-20 degrees. What seems to be the problem here? Defective battery or maybe charger which causes too much voltage? According to the battery, maximum time I can spend on computer (browsing, watching yt) when it is not plugged is 1.5h, on the saving mode XD Can I do something by myself with that problem, except, of course, sending it back for warranty?

I reviewed your post and I understand that the computer is overheating.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I would like to inform you that 90C is normal on the gaming computer. I recommend you use the Omen command center to change the settings which suit your needs.
