Hallo there,

My hp laptop has i5 cpu and it was running with 60% 5 mins after opening it cause of heat and backround programms. i watched some videos about it and it says to 'set affinity' of some high process programms to run with 1 or 2 or 3 cores. After testing this to my laptop my cpu performance went to 40% and lower indeed, so it worked. Would this harm my laptop in the future?
