HP Recommended

Hello,

I am writing to report a critical issue with my HP Slim Desktop S01-pF2000i. I am currently unable to perform essential maintenance on my hardware due to OEM-level restrictions that are interfering with the Windows partition and boot structure.

  1. Missing Recovery Environment (WinRE): My system reports "Could not find recovery environment." Running reagentc /info confirms it is missing or disabled. Standard recovery triggers are failing.

  2. In-Place Upgrade Blocked: I am attempting to move from a preview build back to a Stable Windows 11 installation. The process is being blocked by OEM-specific drive or partition locks unique to this HP model.

  3. Hardware Inaccessibility: This machine is my primary tool for academic preparation and server management. The inability to repair the OS due to factory-imposed software locks is unacceptable.

Demand for Resolution: I am requesting an immediate escalation to a technical lead. I need a clear path to bypass these OEM restrictions to install a clean, stable version of Windows 11 and restore my WinRE.

I want a BIOS without OEM-type restrictions provided or a method to unlock the existing one to allow standard system administration.

If this is not resolved, I will be filing a formal complaint with the National Consumer Helpline (NCH - 1915) and the Consumer Forum for "Deficiency in Service" and "Restricted Product Usage" under the Right to Repair framework in India.

Model: HP Slim Desktop S01-pF2000i Status: Urgent Escalation Requested.
