Product: HP Notebook - 15-ac181na (ENERGY STAR)

Hi can anyone help - I downloaded avast and cleaned up my laptop as it was so slow after deleting loads of data I **bleep** down my laptop and went to reboot and it said that the CT number is missing now my laptop won’t charge unless it’s shut down

Your issue described was a little unclear. Does it boot into windows and just not charge properly. What does it do. I am a little confused on that and would like to help.

Hey thanks for the reply sorry yes that was a little unclear, when I switch my laptop on I have a message that pops up and it says - the following product information programmed into the system board is missing (00A) - system board CT number press enter to continue start up after pressing enter everything boots up fine but the laptop won’t charge so I only get about 20 mins before the battery runs out
