Hi! @Cshks2208, Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A great place where you can find solutions for your issues with help from the community!
I understand when you run the diskpart command on your PC you are getting Cyclic Redundancy Error on your PC.
Don't worry I'll try to help you out.
Did you make any software or hardware changes on your PC?
Please provide the product number of your PC to assist you better.
As you mentioned when you run the diskpart command on your PC you are getting Cyclic Redundancy Error on your PC.
Cyclic Redundancy Check is an error-detecting code used for data verification. When you get this error message, it means there is something wrong with the files or the hard drive.
The error could be caused by the file itself or the hard drive. So first, copy the file to another drive to determine the cause. If you can’t copy the file to another file either, the problem is in fact in the file itself. If you can, the problem is the hard drive.
Try restoring the BIOS to default and check if it helps.
- Turn off the computer and wait five seconds.
- Press the Power button to start the computer and repeatedly press the F10 key to enter the BIOS setup menu.
- On the BIOS Setup screen, press F9 to select and load the BIOS Setup Default settings.
- Press F10 to Save and Exit.
- Use the arrow keys to select Yes, then press Enter when asked Exit Saving Changes?
- Follow the prompts to restart your computer.
Also, You can try running a hard drive test on your PC from F2 and check if it the hard drive is faulty.
Whenever the Hard Disk Short/Long DST test fails that indicates that the Hard Disk Drive has failed and that requires a replacement to resolve the issue.
Refer this article to know more information about running system diagnostics on your PC.
If the hard drive diagnostics test passes, try performing a push button reset on your PC.
Refer this article to know more information about performing a push reset.
Also, Refer this article to know more information about hard drive issues.
