Hi,
You will need to download the UEFI HW diag tool from here (and install it) >> https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp143501-144000/sp143798.exe
Then, proceed with the manual calibration process described here >> https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_2268927-1713329-16
>> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgsLomzvr5E
Alternative process >> described here in details >> https://www.windowscentral.com/how-calibrate-battery-your-windows-10-laptop
Configure the critical battery level to be 1% or 0%
Save the changes. Discharge your battery and when done, charge it again
Hope this helps.

You may also need to test your battery. Depending on its condition and age, you might also need to buy a new one.

Thanks for your reply. I watched the video then performed the battery calibration procedure on my laptop but it didn't help. The battery showed 100% charge immediately after the battery calibration but showed 95% the next morning with the laptop connected to the charger all night. As I type this reply the battery level shows 92%.
I opened a ticket with HP Support 11 days ago to address this issue but I have yet to hear anything other than the automated email with my case number. Any suggestions?
