I am having problems with my webcam after an update.   When going into the device manager it doesnt show up.  I got the device drive to load once but it didnt come up after seeing the cam.   then when i reset the computer thinking that is what it needed it was back to an unknown device and not loading the driver

does anyone know where to find the driver or how to reload it

thank you

@RussDavis

I reviewed your post and I understand that the webcam is not working on your computer.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

The webcam uses the Windows built-in drivers and there is no dedicated driver from HP for the webcam. I recommend you update the BIOS from the below link and check whether the issue is resolved.

If you continue facing the issue, then follow the steps in the below article.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
