Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.

I understand you are facing an issue with the webcam on your laptop. Not to worry I will help you to resolve the issue.
I suggest you follow the steps from this document to fix the issue. (Click on the Word document to open the web page).
Refer to camera information from the document as to how camera works on your PC.
