Hi,

Yes you can upgrade to Windows Pro without any problems. The drivers are the same as for Home edition. To upgrade all you need is the product key. Then click on start > click on settings > click on security and updates > on the left in Window click on Activation > Now click on change product key and insert the product key for Pro version and click on start. Windows will then automatically download and upgrade to Pro version.

You can also take look at this Microsoft support page "Upgrade using Windows 10 pro product key"

Hope it helps,

David

Apparently not always.  I have an older Envy and tried to update to Pro and that began problems which are only to be solved by completely stripping my computer and reloading.  It is such a hassle that I am considering buying a new computer with PRO built in since I will have to reload all my apps all my documents now matter what I do.  So be sure you know what you are talking about.  Microsofts only solution is to start over.
