HP Spectre x360 Laptop - 15-eb0053dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an old work laptop that they let me keep when I left the company last year, but it has a Bitlocker encryption and also I do not have admin privileges on the machine, so basically it's currently a glorified email and YouTube machine.

I would like to completely wipe the device and re-install a fresh instance of Windows with no bitlocker encryption and with admin rights so I can use it normally and install different programs.

Is this possible or am I stuck with what I've got?

Thanks!

Hi:

See if watching this video is of help to you...

How to install windows on Bitlocker Encrypted Drive | Reinstall Windows - YouTube

You can leave the unallocated space at the max size toward the end of the video and install W10 from there without the need for any extra steps.

That was the person's choice to limit the space of that partition.
