HP Recommended

Every few weeks Windows 11 force an update that causes issue to my laptop.

 

This makes me willing to get back to Apple, but first I'd like to know if Linux is supported on ENvy laptops ans, if so, which distro is more compatible.

 

Any comment?

Linux distro will work. But we can't recommend any specific as all may have their own problems and no many of us use linux. It's better to research about good distro on Google and YouTube and act accordingly.

Thank you. Has anybody installed Linux? Any specific BIOS setting to avoid problems? Or other hints?

Users of Envy models tried linux and it support Ubuntu, Mint, or Fedora with modern kernels, as users report smooth performance on AMD/Intel setups. As for Bios settings, disable secure boot, change sata mode to Achi and disable VMD controller of available. That's all
