When I try to upgrade to windows 10 I get the following message:
(This device isn't compatible in Windows 10. Contact the manufacturer for more info.
intel(R) HD Graphics Family
Youll have prombems with your display in windows 10.)
It appears that you can continue the upgrade to windows 10 by clicking confirm.
Does this mean I cannot upgrade windows 10 without there being a risk of having problems with my display? Or does it have to do with the fact that the driver for this device will not work for windows 10 and when I upgrade I will need to download another driver for this device that will work for windows 10?
I have tried unistalling the driver and reinstalling it from the HP website for my model of computer so the driver is up to date.
The first answer from this reddit post says I can just upgrade to windows 10. https://www.reddit.com/r/Windows10/comments/384xbt/windows_10_intel_hd_graphics_compatibility/
Thank you

HP has a Intel graphics driver for Windows 10 posted on your Support page so I would assume that will take care of it. If you go to drivers section and change OS to Windows 10 you will see the driver.
