I may not have blue tooth capability. Nothing in systems. Went to devices, on the left I see blue tooth devices, in the middle I see add blue tooth or other devices.  Clicked on add blue tooth, popped up blue screen says add device, clicked on blue tooth, said it couldn't add. I bought a pair of wireless ear buds thinking I could listen to my music while cleaning my house. Do I need an adapter or can I down load blue tooth if my computer does not have it. Thank You for your time.

Hi:

Below is the link to the product specs for your notebook.

https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04773111

It does not come with built in Bluetooth hardware or that feature would have been listed along with the 1x1 802.11b/g/n WLAN wireless connectivity specification.

The easiest thing to do would be to purchase an external USB Bluetooth adapter.  I use this one for example...
