Can't Reinstall HP Support Asstant

I have a HP 17 g121wm Laptop and system just updated to windows Version 22H2 Windows 10. After the update I went to the HP Support page to see if any updates were available especially " HP Support Assistant" however, for some reason it would not update while other updates did. I can download it and start the process, but it just goes blank, I've tries new and older versions of the Support Asst. to avail. Any insight you could give would be greatly appreciated.

An Observation

It's just an older system.

I would guess the HPSA cannot automatically open the Software and drivers for HP Pavilion Notebook - 17-g121wm (ENERGY STAR) -- I can open the category and select the OS / version -- opening the driver list had to be done manually.

The newest driver in the full list is from 2021 -- most software and drivers are much older than that.

The HP Support Assistant -- even if you could install it -- cannot provide updates where none exist.

The HPSA listed in the driver list is the original software type -- true that it is likely not compatible with the latest Windows OS versions.  The application form of the HPSA might -- or likely will not - run in your older hardware.

If you need access to anything in particular, search for the software or tool in your Windows File System.
