I've successfully installed a previous update with USB stick but I want to fix the EFI partition error

what should I do ? if there are unnecessary files could be deleted ?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

@Ub6424 Thanks for your reply

recycle bin contains one file DESKTOP.INI  129 bytes so it doesn't help.

I'm already following windows clean steps weekly and windows drive has about 80 Gb free space.

Hello @mg_net55

You can temporary cut and move SysDiags.efi to your Windows partition. After Bios Update is done, copy file back.

I can't move or delete files because of partition security , only viewing through MiniTool or Task Manager.

and if this helped now , the problem will appear again after restoring the file next BIOS update

Hello @mg_net55

Disconnect/remove the current hard disk and replace it with another (temporary) hard disk, temporarily install Windows and perform a Bios update. Afterwards, insert/connect the original hard disk again.

( I have other ideas, but they are so risky that I don't want to mention them )

Kind regards

@Ub6424

Why would i do such risky steps to just update BIOS once while i can update it already with a USB stick as mentioned in post ?

I want to fix the problem itself not getting around it.

really appreciate your attention .

Hello @mg_net55

Fixing the EFI parition is not easy.

Attention: If used improperly, it can damage your partitions and destroy the operating system !

Always make a backup of the most important files or a full backup before touching the partitions!

GParted Live on USB ( OpenSource )

or

EaseUS Partition Master

Kind regards
