Can't access bios

My laptop boots up to a screen asking for the administrator password or power-on password which I didn't create either one so I don't know what it could be and I can't access the bios menu to reset I recovered the bios it said it was resetting it but no changes were made and it said that the cmos checksum is invalid how do I fix this?
