WHY are you trying to do a system recovery -- what is the issue you are trying to solve by doing this?

Thank for your reply.  I finally resolved the issue  by searching the internet.  I periodically do a system restore on all of my computers.

I do a similar thing, know as a Repair-Install, every few months -- as that cleans out the crud that builds up over time.
