I have my pavilion dv6 (fairly old now) bricked, whenever I try to format it with any OS from any method (call it bootable usb, dvd, external drive, etc) my pc just freezes and usually starts blinking the caps lock light.
Doing some self troubleshooting I found this guide https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02693833, which seems pretty straightforward, up until the create a usb recovery drive part.
This is the product page for my notebook: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-pavilion-dv6-6100-entertainment-notebook-pc-seri...
Once I'm forced to choose windows 7 as my operating system, both bios update and hp bios update (bios tools) have the same issue, I don't get a choice to create a recovery drive, like the guide i previously linked shows:
It just installs it and tells me my bios doesn't support insyde flash (I'm on a desktop pc with intel as opposed to my amd notebook)
So my question is, where am I supposed to find the right tool to make a recovery usb for my bios? Or is there any way I can make it manually with what I've already downloaded?

Welcome to HP support community.
If you have tried all the steps mentioned in this HP document:- Click here
And if the issue still persists, I request you to talk to HP support.
They might have multiple options to help you with this.
- Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
- Select the country.
- Enter the serial of your device.
- Select the country from the drop-down.
- Click on "Show Options".
- Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
I hope that helps.

There are no contact options for my country, if I put the US as my country, they send me either to this forum or to help centers.
My warranty is expired already.
As for the hp document you linked, I'll try to explain my issue a bit better.
When I press Windows + B, I get a bios recovery message. According to the document we both linked, I should install the bios recovery file with a usb drive.
Here comes the issue, the bios recovery file IS NOT present on my laptop's product page, there are two bios utilities but neither of them allow me to create the needed drive.
It's a HP pavilion dv6 6135dx, product number: LW262UAR#ABA, and my current bios version (that is somehow corrupted) is F.21.
For a shorter version, I need the file to create the BIOS recovery USB flash drive, that IS NOT present in my product's page
