Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

after a clean boot several devices were missing drivers. I was able to get all but this PCI driver PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9D14&SUBSYS_83AD103C&REV_F1\3&11583659&0&E4. Can you help?

Hi:

You need this driver for that device...

This package contains the Intel Chipset Installation Utility. This utility enables the operating system to show the correct name for the installed Intel hardware in the Microsoft Windows Device Manager.

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp101001-101500/sp101171.exe

If the driver does not install the device automatically, try manually installing the driver by going to the device manager.

Click on the  PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9D14 device needing the driver.  Click on the driver tab.  Click on Update Driver.

Select the Browse my computer for drivers option and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the file.

That folder should be located in C:\SWSetup\sp101171.

Make sure the Include subfolders box is checked and the driver should install.

This driver does have support for the hardware ID you posted as shown in the partial copy and paste of one of the driver setup information files...

Hi Paul. I have tried what you have suggested to no avail. I tried loading the file automatically and then manually as per instructions but Windows still can't find the driver! Any other ideas? Robert L.

Sorry that didn't work.

Unfortunately, I don't know why because the driver has the file for that ID

See if this works...

I have pulled just that file with that ID in it and the security catalog, zipped it up and attached it below.

Download and unzip the file to its folder.  Do not do anything with the files in the folder.

Click on the  PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9D14 device needing the driver.  Click on the driver tab.  Click on Update Driver.

Select the Browse my computer for drivers option and then at the bottom of that window, select the Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer.

Click on Have Disk, and browse to the driver folder you unzipped>Sunrise Point-LPSystem, select the Mobile Intel(R) Processor Family I/O PCI Express Root Port #5 device from the list and see if the driver installs that way.

If that doesn't work either, unfortunately, I don't have any other suggestions for you to try.
