HP OMEN 16-B1009NP
Microsoft Windows 11

Hey! I'm trying to install Windows 11 (downloaded from official website) on HP OMEN 16-B1009NP (that didn't have any OC pre-installed). After the first window, asking to select language and time, I get redirected to a window saying that "required media driver not found" and asking to install it first. I downloaded from support. hp. com files from "driver-chipset" folder (and tried some other files) but to each the system respond with "(new) device drivers not found". And once the response was "we were unable to install the driver. contact the supplier for an updated driver" about "Intel Innovation Platform Framework Processor Participant Driver" that was released on Sep 7, 2022 (as indicated on the HP website).
Any ideas were to look for the required drivers? And which one exactly is needed?

Hi:

Try the drivers that I zipped up and attached below.

They are the Intel storage controller drivers used in PC's with the 11th, 12th and 13th gen core processors.

Download and unzip the file to its folder.

Copy the driver folder to a USB flash drive.

When you are at the screen where Windows cannot find any drives, click on the Load driver option.

Browse to the USB flash drive with the drivers on it.

If you check the box, it will only include the compatible driver.

Click Next, and hopefully you will be able to continue on to install W11.

Hey! Thanks for the quick replay, but it didn't help unfortunately. The laptop didn't see anything to use in the folder. I downloaded drivers from Intel website for Intel® Core™ i7-12700H Processor for Windows 11 ( Version 7.0.4 that supports 12th Gen) but it didn't work either - no reaction, haven't found anything in these folders even to try with the "Next" step (when I've tried drivers from HP site, sometimes system saw some but after clicking Next always responded that it's not the one needed).

You're very welcome.

The only other suggestion I can offer would be to try this set of drivers that I zipped up and attached below.

Nope, zero reaction 😐
I'm gonna try to redo the boot usb (maybe that's where the problem lays).

Thank you anyway! Maybe I'll come back for some more advices later 🙂

You're very welcome.

Try this...instead of using the W11 tool to create a bootable USB flash drive, use the free Rufus utility to create one with the W11 ISO file.

Set the menu up the way you see it on the website illustration for Windows installations.

Rufus - Create bootable USB drives the easy way

You download the ISO file from Microsoft (3rd option).

Download Windows 11 (microsoft.com)

Then let Rufus build the bootable USB flash drive from the ISO file.

Hey! Just popping up to let you know that I did manage to install Windows 🎉 Rufus helped! (so I needed first to fully format flash drive via command line). Thanks for all 🙂
