Product: HP Notebook - 15-bs061st

Ok so I am trying to install an os and I’m trying to change the sata emulation so I am able to install it but I can’t find it anywhere in the InsydeH20 Setup Utility bios.

Hi:

 

We haven't been able to change the drive controller settings in HP consumer class notebooks such as the 15-bs model series in 15 years.

 

The BIOS is set to AHCI by default and cannot be changed by any means.

 

All Windows operating systems from Windows Vista on have support for AHCI.

 

Windows XP needs an AHCI driver in order to install but none exist for a notebook as new as the 15-Bs061st.

 

XP only has support up to and including the Intel 3rd gen core processors.
