Pavilion 15 ab-291sa
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there,

I've downloaded an Intel CPPC driver from my laptop's hp support website. However, when I try to install it, it comes up with message saying that my system does's meet the minimum system requirements.

I'm running 64bit windows 10.

I also tried downloading this driver from other sources but all with the same result.

Can anyone help, please?

Thank you.

Hi:

Not every driver on your notebook's support page is applicable to your specific model.

HP tries to list every possible driver for the entire model series, and different models within the series have different hardware specifications.

If the device manager in your PC is not missing any drivers, then the Intel CPPC driver is not applicable to your platform, which is why it is giving you that message.

If the device manager is missing drivers, please post the hardware ID's for any drivers you are missing by using this guide.

Hi there,

Thank you for quick reply.

No, device manager is not missing any drivers.

I thought that this driver would be applicable to my device as it's listed on my specific mode's hp support website.

It looks like I was wrong.
