My mother decided to reset this laptop, and now I have to "Reinstall Windows 11". I have an external USB drive that hold EVERYTHING that I need, but when I try and install it, it says: Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk has an MBR partition table. On EFI systems, WIndows can only be installed on GPT disks." That is the only drive that I have. I have formatted it, as well as searched through everything, and have yet to find out how to install Windows. Thank you,

You are saying re-install that means it is running Windows 11 now. If yes, please use the following steps.
1. Download ISO file from https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/windows11 and save on your machine
2. Right click the downloaded file and select Mount
3. Right click Setup from the list and Run as Administrator
4. You have option to install new Windows 11 and keep user files/data and apps.
Regards.

I do not have windows 11 already installed. We had to delete windows because of the key needed to enter the laptop, and now my selection of where to install windows 11 is just 1 area, and I cannot split it, nor even install windows 11 to that storage, and I cannot install windows 11. The laptop is compatible, and I have everything needed to install windows 11, but it will not work.
