Product: Pavilion ZV6000
Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP

I'm trying to re-install Windows XP on a second hand ZV6000 laptop. It starts fine, but every time the message "Setup is starting Windows" appears it just stops there and nothing happens. Why is this?

Do you have AHCI enabled? Then you have to provide the drivers.

Hi, @VH2000 

 

The zv6000 model series have IDE drives with an IDE controller, so that would not be the cause of the problem.

What the problem could be, unfortunately that I do not know.
