I have a HP 15-da0006Tx that was running Windows 11 with 4 GB of RAM, a 16 GB m.2 SSD, and a hard drive, so I decided to upgrade the storage and RAM to 20 GB and 500 GB of WD BLACK SN750 NVMe SSD, which was in a previous computer and still had info on it, but when I start the computer, it says no OS is installed on the hard drive. I run a diagnostic check, and it says the drive is fine, so I tried installing a fresh copy of Windows, but it says it isn't compatible. So I then removed Win 11 requirements with Rufus. but it then didn't show the drive when choosing the installation drive. The same happened the SSD, except it didn't even recognise it when running a diagnostic test in the BIOS.

if you still have the original drive then clone the drive to the new SSD.
Western Digital has free cloning software and there are others
Cloud recovery provides all the custom HP drivers.
Go to the below site and enter your product ID including the 3 characters after the # character
If you have cloud recovery you can restore your system using a 32gb flash.
It may take an hour or more to create the recovery USB.

Alternately, download from the MS windows store

The cloud recovery tool will not work for your notebook since it is more than 5 years old.
That is very strange since the PC has an Intel 8th gen core processor and should support W11 without any tricks.
Is the TPM 2.0 security chip enabled in the BIOS?
If it is, the only suggestion I can offer would be to install W10 instead and watch this video for how to do an in place upgrade to W11 which is the easiest way I have found to do that.
How to install Windows 11 24H2 on Unsupported PC (Early Access) 2024 (youtube.com)
Download the W24H2 ISO file and use that (3rd option).
Download Windows 11 (microsoft.com)
You can download the free 7-Zip file utility from the link below. The top line is for 64 bit.
You'll have to repeat this procedure each October when Microsoft rolls out the new builds because a PC that does not meet Microsoft's minimum W11 hardware requirements will never automatically get the update to the next build.

- I tried installing Windows 10, but when it reaches the setup process where you choose the drive to install Windows 10, it does show any available drive no matter which storage I put in. Also could you show me how to turn on TPM 2.0?

As I had posted in my first reply, the cloud recovery tool will not work for your notebook since it is more than 5 years old.
That is why you got the ''item 0015'' error.
How did you make the W10 installation media?
Did you use the Microsoft media creation tool to create a bootable USB flash drive, or did you use some other method such as downloading the ISO file and using Rufus to transfer the ISO file to a USB flash drive?
No storage controller drivers are needed for your notebook in order for Windows to find the drive.
I don't have your notebook so I don't know what the BIOS settings look like, but the TPM BIOS setting should be in the BIOS' security menu.
It may be labeled as an 'Embedded Security Device' as well as a TPM 2.0 device.

Your first post says ". . .15-da0006Tx was running Windows 11 with. . . a '16 GB m.2 SSD' and a hard drive." Does the label on the 16 GB M.2 SSD read Intel Optane memory?
If so, you may need to put the Optane memory and hard drive back in and disable the Optane in a proper way before replacing the Optane with an M.2 NVMe drive and trying to install Windows on it.
If the 16 GB M.2 SSD is not Optane, just disregard my post (I'm still wondering what it is though).
