Hi all

 

I want to do a clean system restore on my HP Pavilion Notebook - 15-ab254sa Product number:N7K30EA

 

When performing I got the error message on reboot of:- Can’t open file: X:\sources\Recovery\tools\HP\Rita-tool\

 

I downloaded the HP For notebook computers, download HP Recovery Manager Update SP 74123 software

 

Then opened the folder is extracted to which is C:\SWSetup\SP73898\HPSetup.exe and then tried to run the file HPSetup.exe

 

The file UAC asks if you want to allow this app to make changes to your device? I click yes, nut nothing happens - the software will not install so I can't recover my windows install from recovery drive

 

Can anyone please assist?
