@Luffy13, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I can help you with this. From the BIOS screen you've shown, it looks like you're stuck in the BIOS setup utility of your HP Notebook (with Intel Core i3-6006U, 4GB RAM, BIOS version F.30). You mentioned:

  • When you press "Yes" to "Exit Saving Changes", your laptop automatically shuts down.
  • You can't log in to Windows.
  • A sound comes from the laptop when you start it (could be a beep or fan/hardware noise).

Let’s go step-by-step to troubleshoot this:

Step 1: Check the Power and Battery

  • Is the laptop running on battery or plugged into a charger? If not, connect the charger and try again.
  • Try removing the battery (if removable), wait 1 minute, plug it back in, and power on.

Step 2: Reset BIOS to Default

Sometimes incorrect settings in BIOS can prevent Windows from loading.

  1. From the BIOS screen, press F9 to Load Setup Defaults.
  2. Press F10 to Save and Exit.
  3. Select Yes when prompted.
  4. Observe what happens next — does it still shut down or try to boot?

Step 3: Try Booting into Safe Mode (if Windows starts briefly)

If your PC does start but doesn’t reach the login screen:

  • Power off the laptop.
  • Turn it on and immediately press F8 repeatedly or Shift + F8 (older systems) to try to enter Safe Mode.

If that doesn’t work, we might need recovery tools.

Step 4: Check for Boot Device

Sometimes, your PC doesn’t boot if the drive isn’t detected. In BIOS:

  1. Go to the System Configuration tab.
  2. Check Boot Options.
  3. Ensure your hard drive or Windows Boot Manager is listed as the first boot option.
  4. If it isn’t, use F5/F6 to adjust it.

Step 5: Hardware Test (if still shutting down)

  1. Restart and press Esc repeatedly at boot, then press F2 to run the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics.
  2. Run a Quick Test for storage and memory.

If none of these steps work or the shutdown still happens when exiting BIOS, it might be a:

  • Hard disk failure
  • Corrupted OS
  • Hardware issue (motherboard, RAM)
  • Or BIOS corruption

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
