Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
My laptop has been trying to update the windows 10 update for a few days and always fails. I have tried troubleshooting and in the end it just tells me "HP Pavilion notebook-BIOS needs to be upgraded before you can upgrade to windows 10" And then it tells me to manually uninstall it. No clue how.  
My product number is N9D95UA#ABA

Welcome to HP Support Community

 

Please update the BIOS from this Link: https://support.hp.com/rs-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-pavilion-15-ab100-notebook-pc-series/8... and try the Windows update again

 

If the issue persists, please try this Windows Update Troubleshooter: https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/4027322/windows-update-troubleshooter
