there are so many news articles saying that Hp support assistant flaws expose windows Pcs to hackers. What`s going on ?

Your question was specifically about "hacking".  If you have an issue with HP Support Assistant not working, you need to open a new thread with that title.

If you are using your laptop on a home network, either wired or WiFi, you are behind a firewall and you are not going to get hacked.

 

If you use your laptop on a PUBLIC network, like at a coffee shop or hotel, then you risk getting hacked because that is not protected.  In these cases, HP Support Assistant is the LEAST of your concerns.

Also my hp support assistant not installing any drivers i don`t know why ?
