there are so many news articles saying that Hp support assistant flaws expose windows Pcs to hackers. What`s going on ?

If you are using your laptop on a home network, either wired or WiFi, you are behind a firewall and you are not going to get hacked.
If you use your laptop on a PUBLIC network, like at a coffee shop or hotel, then you risk getting hacked because that is not protected. In these cases, HP Support Assistant is the LEAST of your concerns.
