HP compaq6710b
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

Cannot change mij bios in 2 hp compaq 6710b . Want do change sata in ahci.

With F10 I do not see it. ESC with booting als does not help.

Maybe my dual boot machines cannot handle this .

Also I cannot change the biios in my HP DC 7700p

Hi:

 

The BIOS in your notebook is set to AHCI by default.

 

The AHCI setting in the BIOS is called SATA Native Mode and options are Enabled or Disabled.

 

Enabled = AHCI on, Disabled = AHCI is disabled (IDE mode).

 

Your dc7700 should have two drive controller settings, IDE and RAID.

 

RAID is as good as AHCI.
