I am trying to download google chrome on my laptop however my laptop will not let me download any files from the web. A message pops up after running the download saying that 'Chrome contains a virus and was deleted'. This even happens with job descriptions which I try to download off job sites. I have upgraded everything possible on my laptop and run virus software which comes up clean. I've tried various settings in internet options and nothing is working. PLEASE CAN SOMEONE TELL ME HWO TO RESOLVE THIS. Im ready to throw my laptop through the window!!!!

@SMT3

Before going further, can you download files from other browsers such as Firefox or Internat Explorer ?

Regards.

Use Google. Not Chrome, but the Google Search Engine. It may help
