Hi @BillieGoat12,

Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I suggest that you follow the steps listed below:

1. At the login screen without the option to enter a password, you should have a small power button symbol at the bottom right corner, hold SHIFT key & click on the restart while holding it to restart into the Advanced boot options, where it should give you the option to choose the "Troubleshoot".
2. Click on the Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.
3. When it is restarted, it should give the option to enter the safe mode, select it,
4. After booting the machine with safe mode, it would prompt for the password to log in, please log in.
5. Then press Windows key + R, and type - MSCONFIG on the run command,
6. un-check the "safe boot" & select disable all Microsoft services under the services tab, then click on disable all.
7. After another restart, it should get back to the normal startup & prompted to enter a password to log in.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
