Toshiba XG3 Series 256GB NVMe M.2

Hello. So, I am working on a laptop for a friend and it came without a M.2 SSD installed in it. I ordered a Toshiba XG3 Series 256GB NVMe M.2 SSD for him and it arrived today. I installed it and then tried to install Windows 10 on it using a USB 3.0 flash drive. The drive will not show up at all. I even went into the BIOs and changed it so the flash drive would boot first--no luck. The boot device screen is pretty much blank. And It keeps going to the screen that says Boot Device Not Found. Please install an operating system on your hard disk. Also, I have tried using a Windows 10 installation disc as well and setting it to boot a DVD first.

I went to System Diagnostics and did the Hard Drive Check and it said SMART Test: Passed and Short DST: Not Available. I have been all over the BIOs trying everyting I could to fix the problem but no luck. I've watched many YouTube vidoes about this issue and nothing works. I have tried literally everything. Am I supposed to somehow update the BIOs? It says the current version is 2.0.0.0.

Unless I am mistaken, your product ID is 7PS43UA#aba and that device has cloud recovery.  Please check that ID

Go to the below site and enter your product ID including the 3 characters after the # character
If you have cloud recovery you can restore your system using a 32gb flash.
It may take an hour or more to create the recovery USB.

Ok. I'll check this out. Thanks.

My PC refuses to download it from the Microsoft Store. It just keeps giving me an error message. But I was able to find the program online and download it. I feel like this might work but I'm not going to get my hopes up. I entered my Product ID into the tool and now it's downloading Winddows 10 x64 onto my 128 GB flash drive. Fingers crossed!!!!
