Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have Itunes on my Laptop. I can log into the cloud, apple etc. However When I try to log into my Itunes account, it says " Verfication failed, unknown error". I spoke to some one at Apple, and being that I can do everything, but log into my Itunes account it has been suggested it is computer related. Some thoughts would be appreciated.

HP does not own iTunes, it is an Apple product, you can use:

Yes that is correct. After speaking with an associate for an hour at Apple support, It has come to the conclusion thta it wasn't apple related being that I could log in to the Apple website, and the cloud, but an issue with my laptop. So I should be more specific and ask how can I go about fixing this with my Laptop? I can open up iTunes, I can go through my music, however if I want to make a purchase, and log into my account, I get a verification failed, unknown error. Resized_20220811_194957002.jpeg

What have you tried to resolve the issue?

 

Use a different web browser?  Clear all the cache and cookies in the browser?

 

Is there an iTunes application installed on the computer?   Have you tried deleting/rebooting/re-installing the app?
