Hi!
I kinda srewd up with my hp. Wanted to make an update, didn't had space and make a bootable usb to reinstall a clean windows. The problem I have now is that I an very unable to install any os on the laptop.
Managed to to install a 32 bit version of windows, made all the updates but well, my windows didn't installed all my updates and I can't even find them online to manually install them. No sound, no webcam, no battery icon, no rotating screen, no hibernation, no side buttons working and no, I did not made a bakup or restore point becase in many years, I have never been in this situation, 32 bit UEFI with 64 bit processor? Really? How is this even possbile? :))
It's been 5 days in wich all I do when I come home is try to install anything on it. Managed to boot live linux, everything work great, all drivers are there, but I can install only 32bit operating systems linux and window but no drivers. How the HP Team installed the 64 bit version? :)) Any iso i try to boot i receive error with IA32 UEFI file not supported by the iso.
Tried to manually put the bootia32.efi in all the bootable iso's, linux and windows, still nothing, tred to force boot from grub 2 using ls commands, bootx64.efi gives no bootable media and bootia32.efi does nothing. I'm stuck with either some skinny linux distro because I'm stuck with the 32 bit and not many are available or a windows 32 with no drivers.
Has anyone been in this situation or can anyone give any adivce? I no longer have any ides what to try.
One workaround i was thinking about was to find another user and kinda make a clone of their drive or restore point and then use easyus in pe to clone and boot after that.

Hi:
I don't know why you can't install W10 64 bit on your notebook, but if you can install W10 32 bit, here are the 32-bit drivers:
Intel Chipset, Graphics, Camera and Audio Driver Pack
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp72501-73000/sp72640.html
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp72501-73000/sp72640.exe
There are only W8.1 drivers for the gyroscope.
Multi-Sensor Enabling Driver
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp71001-71500/sp71466.html
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp71001-71500/sp71466.exe
There's a W10 Ambient Light Sensor Driver
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp72501-73000/sp72639.html
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp72501-73000/sp72639.exe
And a W10 ELAN Cover Keyboard and Touchpad Driver
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp72001-72500/sp72299.html
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp72001-72500/sp72299.exe
If you need the Wi-Fi driver, there is only a W8.1 driver for that as well:
Realtek RTL8723BS 802.11n SDIO Wireless LAN Drivers
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp71501-72000/sp71996.html
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp71501-72000/sp71996.exe

Thank you so much for the links, I don't know how you managed to find them so quick. I see that their links are starting with ftp.
Managed to install all the drivers and now everyting works perfectly, all functions are working.
Did an image restore point to have it in the future and saved the drivers locally.
Thank you again so much.

You're very welcome.
It took me a while to find the official HP links to the drivers.
There is a 3rd party driver site that has the drivers for your notebook called driverscollection.com
It is a reputable site that has drivers for many older HP notebooks and some desktop PCs where HP has discontinued driver support.
I just wonder if that model series came with a 32-bit operating system from HP because there were not too many W10 64-bit drivers I could find.
It only has 2 GB of memory and a 32 GB eMMC flash storage drive from little information I could find about the model series.
A 64-bit operating system would run sluggishly on a configuration like that.
64-bit operating systems require more system memory and storage space than a 32-bit operating system does.
Not double, but certainly more.
