I'm trying to re-install windows using the media creation tool on a USB drive.
I'm getting an error telling me that
'Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk has an MBR partition table. On EFI systems, Windows can only be installed to BPT disks.
Windows cannot be installed to this disk. Setup does not support configuration of or installation to disks connected through a USB or IEEE 1394 port.'
Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

there is a choice in the program that you used to build the image of windows , this choice is found on the left side called : partition scheme & you should choose MBR not GPT since it is obvious that your system is bios dependent .
