Hi,
I'm trying to upgrade Windows 10 to May 2019 Feature Update on HP Spectre 13 Pro (F1N51EA#ABD) using Update Assistant. At the final stage of upgrade process I got the following error message:
"What needs your attention,
This PC can’t be upgraded to Windows 10. Your PC has hardware that isn’t ready for this version of Windows 10. No action is needed. Windows Update will offer this version of Windows 10 automatically once the issue has been resolved."
Microsoft published a support page that provides a solution for the issue - According to KB4500988, the issue is caused by external USB devices or SD memory cards that are plugged in to the computer.
But I have nothing connected to laptop, either to USB nor card reader. How to fix this issue?
Regards, Vasiliy

Hello @VasiliyM6
Thank you for posting in the HP Support Community.
What you experience is a known issue as you have noticed in the KBA. Microsoft confirmed it no longer exists in Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 18877 or later. However, they "promised" to release a hotfix for the general public in the upcoming release.
From what I read online, this bug still hasn't been fixed in the original 1903 version and the workaround does not help to anybody.
- There are some unofficial reports that suggest installing the latest Insider patches here can fix the issue so that you can upgrade successfully.
If I were you, I would not rush to try to update to new Windows versions in the following months. It's always a big mess with every new Windows Update
