Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

I have been through this board tried all options to fix this problem and none work. I reinstalled Windows Seven and now cannot get to certain webpages and cannot run windows updates. The error I am getting is  8007000E, help would be greatly appreciated!!!

I have had 100% success fixing W7 update issues by reading the info at the link below.

 

I didn't even have to read the advanced users discussion.

When you first reinstall W7, you get IE8 as the default browser, which today is pretty much useless.

 

If your version of W7 is SP1, I recommend you upgrade to the new Edge browser for W7, which was a collaboration between Microsoft and google chrome.  Select W7 from the dropdown list.
