Hi @Toyibat,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
The error message you're seeing — "Boot Device Not Found. Please install an operating system on your hard disk. Hard Disk (3F0)" typically indicates that your HP PC is unable to detect a bootable operating system on the hard drive. Here's how to troubleshoot it, and do share the result:
1. Check BIOS/UEFI Settings
- Turn off the PC.
- Turn it back on and immediately press Esc or F10 repeatedly to enter the BIOS/UEFI menu.
- In BIOS:
- Go to System Configuration > Boot Options.
- Ensure the hard drive is listed as a boot device.
- If not listed, the hard drive may be disconnected or have failed.
2. Run HP Hardware Diagnostics
Extensive Test -
1. Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
2. Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
3. On the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) main menu, click System Tests.
4. Click Extensive Test.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
