Hello @Broodyx
Welcome to the HP Support forum.
Where did you place/install the SSD itself ? Is it externally connected somehow ?
This is Windows installation error and is related not to your SSD, not to your HP computer but to Windows itself.
Windows installer is strange and will only accept to install itself in storage 0. This means if your SSD or HDD has been plugged into any SATA port different from the 0 one in the motherboard, Windows will simply refuse to install. Simply change the SATA cable and plug it into the slot #0. You need to get the HDD out, plug in the SSD in this cable and then try to install Windows on the SSD an unpartitioned space. Eventually, if possible, re-insert the HDD

Getting the HDD out is very difficult for your model. Here is how to do it 45/55 in the service manual >> http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04763947
Hope this helps.
